Welcome to Ankh-Morpork, City of One Thousand Surprises!

This stupendously detailed illustration was originally illustrated for The Compleat Ankh-Morpork, adorning the giant fold-out map within. Artist Peter Dennis took on the task of drawing hundreds of little houses, guild buildings, landmarks and blots on the landscape to bring Discworld’s most fragrant city to life, and now at long last his work can be admired in a more convenient size, and without the folds!

Produced on 200gsm satin-finish archival paper. Print size (including border) measures 69 x 50.8cm approx. Shipped rolled in a sturdy postal tube. (frame not included, they don’t roll very well – shown for presentation purposes only).

About the artist…
Peter Dennis has a history of illustrating lots of tiny buildings and intricate landscapes having created over a hundred covers for military history publishers Osprey, and countless historical architecture publications. We first met Peter Dennis while we working on the Ankh-Morpork and Witches board games by Treefrog Games for whom Peter created incredible box illustrations and illustrated Discworld best-loved  characters. After such an in-depth introduction to Discworld and its characters, Peter then worked with us to illustrate the Compleat Ankh-Morpork and Compleat Discworld Atlas along with The World of Poo, Mrs Bradshaw’s Handbooks and various Discworld journals and diaries. More recently Peter has devoted his time and expertise to creating his own range of paper wargame titles.
